The Meaning of Boredom

I've just realized this morning that boredom is our inability to appreciate that particular moment which we are going through.

In our blindness to the truth, we judged that moment to be boring when we compare it to other moments we've gone through in the past or other moments we expect to experience in the future.

The fact is, all moments are precious as life itself is precious because life is made up of every single moment that we go through. Each moment teaches us different things about our multi-faceted life, and each moment brings us different experiences for us to savor.

So appreciate each moment as they are presented, accept each single occasion as gems and never succumb to boredom, as we might miss out on some parts of our precious life.

i think sometimes people are so driven to doing something everytime they have nothing to do.
i say, do nothing when you have nothing to do, and that's not boredom.

that's just something you gotta do sometimes - do nothing.
